Cooking for Two
Eric will be surprising his girlfriend by cooking her dinner. He had never cooked for anyone before except his family. He never cooks for any girl unless he is sure that she is a keeper. Eric was a great cook but he doesn’t put any effort into it unless he really wants to.
Gladys is really special to Eric. They have been dating for almost two months and Eric is completely in love with her. He has never felt this way with anyone. Not even those whom he dated more than a year.
Tonight, Eric will be cooking some grilled salmon. He will also serve arugula salad and some blueberry cheesecake, Gladys’ favorite, for dessert. Eric’s nerves are threatening to get the best of him, but he never did falter. He grilled, mixed and cooked until everything was perfectly done.
Gladys will be arriving a few minutes from now and Eric just needs to find a great looking serving dish for the salmon. He checked his cupboard and atop a few cupcake pans was a beautiful piece of serving china. As soon as Eric placed a few finishing touches on the decorations on the table, the doorbell rang. It was Gladys and Eric smiled.
